“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.”—William A. Ward
Since 1927, when we helped our very first child, we have been helping children with disabilities and health challenges—and the families who care for them. But none of this would be possible if not for the generosity of our supporters. And so it is only appropriate that on behalf of all the children who have benefited from those who care, we thank you for your support.
Children mean the world to us, and you make it possible for us to mean the world to them.
Your support means we can remove the roadblocks that stand in the way of children with disabilities and health challenges to enjoy their lives to the fullest. What we do, in many ways, is level the playing field so that these children get the same chances in life as others.
We often assume that all children can accomplish basic “childhood” things—but because some children have roadblocks, your help means that we can remove them. For example, sometimes the children we serve may need support to eat, walk, ride a bike, talk, play and experience and enjoy their childhood years. With this kind of support, they can go out and play, make friends, go to school, and be involved in family and community activities.
Every one of our donors, regardless of the size of their gift, has helped us deliver happiness, freedom and peace of mind to countless children and families living on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.
From the bottom of our hearts, and on their behalf, thank you
